Progetto SharpSign

Caro Ing. Meo, grazie davvero per l'introduzione. Caro Juan Carlos, molto piacere. L' ing. Meo ha sintetizzato molto bene uno degli aspetti su cui sto lavorando. SharpSign nasce dall'idea di costruire, con il minimo intervento possibile da parte dell'utente, una memoria strutturata e progressiva del percorso creativo e di ricerca: non soltanto i risultati finali, ma materiali, passaggi, relazioni, decisioni e provenienza. L'intelligenza artificiale entra in questo sistema come strumento che può accedere in modo selettivo a questa memoria e restituirvi nuovi contributi, senza diventare proprietaria della memoria stessa. Il progetto è ancora in una fase in cui per me è particolarmente prezioso confrontarmi con chi lavora concretamente su questi temi. Se pensi che possa avere senso, sarei molto felice di raccontartelo e mostrartelo in una breve mail. Un caro saluto a tutti. Giancarlo

Alla ricerca di un'autonomia, anche digitale, europea, a partire dal caso A/I

care tutti, sperando di non disturbare, mi permetto di condividere questi brevi appunti scritti con Emanuele Braga, anche a valle del "caso A/I" di cui si è discusso su questa nostra ml. Come dimostra il caso Autistici/Inventati. - Ci sono momenti in cui fatti apparentemente separati cominciano a comporre un quadro. In Germania l’AfD ha appena vinto le elezioni regionali in Sassonia-Anhalt e Meclemburgo-Pomerania Anteriore. Negli Stati uniti l’amministrazione Trump ha associato l’antifascismo alla minaccia terroristica, sanzionando Autistici/Inventati. Anche il dibattito pubblico online è sempre più attraversato da guerre informazionali ibride. Trump, Netanyahu e Putin, pur attraverso traiettorie differenti, esercitano pressioni diverse sull’autonomia politica europea. Le destre agitano la parola “sovranità” contro migranti, solidarietà e diritti, ma accettano la dipendenza dagli Stati uniti su energia, tecnologie, dati e infrastrutture strategiche. La sinistra dovrebbe fare l’opposto: costruire un’autonomia europea digitale, finanziaria e politica. Autonomia digitale Comunicazione, privacy e libertà di espressione non possono dipendere da infrastrutture controllate da poche corporation statunitensi. Le alternative esistono: infrastrutture pubbliche e cooperative, software libero, interoperabilità e privacy by design. Dobbiamo smettere di cedere diritti e libertà al tecnosoluzionismo, come se ogni problema politico e sociale potesse essere risolto con più dati, più server e più sorveglianza. Autonomia politica europea come eredità delle Repubbliche antifasciste L’ordine democratico europeo del dopoguerra nasce dal rifiuto del progetto nazifascista. La questione riguarda l’autonomia politica dell’Europa e la capacità di difendere i principi democratici e costituzionali su cui afferma di fondarsi. La Corte costituzionale italiana ha recentemente parlato di una “società europea”. Come ci ha insegnato Stefano Rodotà, se ieri la questione era costruire un’Europa dei diritti e non soltanto dei mercati, oggi quei diritti hanno bisogno delle condizioni materiali per non essere subordinati a decisioni prese altrove. Autonomia finanziaria Una blacklist frutto di un ordine esecutivo dell’amministrazione Trump non dovrebbe diventare, nei fatti, legge nel mercato europeo. Il caso A/I mostra il problema: banche e intermediari europei possono temere le *secondary sanctions*, l’esclusione dai circuiti internazionali di pagamento o difficoltà nell’operare in dollari. Ma l’Europa potrebbe rovesciare questa catena del rischio. Se rendesse vietato agli operatori europei conformarsi a determinate sanzioni extraterritoriali statunitensi, attraverso strumenti come il *Blocking statute*, la contraddizione risalirebbe verso Mastercard, Visa, PayPal e altri operatori globali. Il Parlamento europeo ha già chiesto di attivare il Blocking Statute per proteggere la Corte penale internazionale dalle sanzioni statunitensi. Ora Salis, Scuderi e molte altre eurodeputate e eurodeputati hanno chiesto alla Commissione di intervenire anche sul caso A/I. Questa posizione sarebbe più forte se l’Unione disponesse di infrastrutture proprie: circuiti di pagamento, intermediari digitali indipendenti e sistemi capaci di garantire servizi finanziari essenziali. E sarebbe più forte se fosse sostenuta da una mobilitazione pubblica e popolare dal basso. Autonomia politica, digitale e finanziaria non sono tre questioni separate. Sono tre facce della stessa domanda: può esistere uno spazio politico europeo, democratico, sociale e costituzionale se qualcun altro controlla una parte decisiva delle infrastrutture attraverso cui il vivere sociale e il dibattito pubblico si articolano in Europa? Caro Ing. Meo, grazie davvero per l'introduzione. Caro Juan Carlos, molto piacere. L' ing. Meo ha sintetizzato molto bene uno degli aspetti su cui sto lavorando. SharpSign nasce dall'idea di costruire, con il minimo intervento possibile da parte dell'utente, una memoria strutturata e progressiva del percorso creativo e di ricerca: non soltanto i risultati finali, ma materiali, passaggi, relazioni, decisioni e provenienza. L'intelligenza artificiale entra in questo sistema come strumento che può accedere in modo selettivo a questa memoria e restituirvi nuovi contributi, senza diventare proprietaria della memoria stessa. Il progetto è ancora in una fase in cui per me è particolarmente prezioso confrontarmi con chi lavora concretamente su questi temi. Se pensi che possa avere senso, sarei molto felice di raccontartelo e mostrartelo in una breve mail. Un caro saluto a tutti. caro Juan Carlos, il nostro amico Giancarlo Maccagno ha ideato il progetto innovativo di una linea di strumenti finalizzati a creare una memoria dinamica di una linea di ricerca. E' un progetto difficile, da allocare nel quadro dell'intelligenza artificia, ma probabilmente molto utile. Forse qualche ricercatore di Nrxa potrebbe essere interessa.
