Buongiorno, grazie Diego, per completezza aggiungo sotto il testo del comunicato stampa così si capisce meglio di cosa stiamo parlando: social scoring. Aggiungo "solo" che il costo del sistema di gestione di questi benefit non è del tutto trascurabile: solo per _questo_ programma gli USA spenderanno 1,271,485.00 USD in tre anni (se non interpreto male le tabelle): quanto costerà all'annno gestire il sistema? A quanto ammonta il totale di fondi "dirottati" per mezzo delle truffe? controllo del green-pass e privacy

A quanto mi risulta le scuole ricevono dal ministero ogni giorno l'elenco dei green pass "verdi" e "rossi" ed usano queste informazione per facilitare lo screening dei docenti che entrano. Per quanto ho capito io, la norma del green pass prevede la sua verifica al momento in cui la persona entra nel luogo soggetto a controllo, mentre farlo indipendentemente dalla sua presenza (p.es., il docente può avere un giorno libero) mi sembra sia una violazione della privacy. Sarei lieto di avere un chiarimento da qualche giurista... Mark Zuckerberg is betting Facebook’s future on the metaverse

Ciao a tutti, leggevo con un po' di ritardo la mail [1] di Giuseppe Attardi riguardo a quelle che chiama Virtual Utopias (su cui mi piacerebbe approfondire), ma sentendo citare il metaverse mi è tornata in mente questa recente intevista a Zuckerberg, inquietante quanto allucinata: https://www.theverge.com/22588022/mark-zuckerberg-facebook-ceo-metaverse-in… Di per sé Zuckerberg non andrebbe preso sul serio, è il membro scemo della cricca dei bulletti cibernetici, ma ciò che dice può spesso essere letto come quel poco che ha capito di ciò che le "menti raffinatissime" dei suoi compari più furbi architettano. Ne cito dunque solo due passaggi, sperando di non annoiarvi troppo con quella che è anzitutto propaganda politica. "opportunità". ;-) Non credo che gli scenari descritti siano dietro l'angolo, ma purtroppo non credo nemmeno che (se e) quando si presenteranno, la popolazione disporrà di competenze adatte a comprendere ed evitare la perdità di diritti e di libertà che verranno imposte tramite queste tecnologie. Se le avessimo, fra l'altro, imporremmo già oggi per legge UI ed UX percettibilmente innaturali, per mantenere una netta separazione cognitiva fra realtà ed allucinazione [3] informatica. Temo ci sia il rischio non saprà mai: occorre puntare a evitare che dubbi di questo tipo si presentino in futuro. Dobbiamo garantire che le attività umane sul genoma portino la firma di chi le fa, proprio per evitare che le responsabilità possano essere eluse. Una specie di targa, di marchio di fabbrica, o di green pass, se vogliamo. I laboratori BSL4 o comunque quelli che modificano organismi pericolosi dovrebbero aggiungere il watermark sul genoma che conservano, manipolano e usano. In caso di leak accidentale si potrà risalire al laboratorio di origine. Le tecnologie per farlo apparentemente ci sono, si chiamano "DNA watermarking" anche se sono concepite prevalentemente per l'attribuzione di proprietà, ad esempio per la protezione di brevetti su DNA modificato. Nel nostro caso la tecnologia dovrebbe garantire il non ripudio, quindi per evitare che un laboratorio possa negare l'autenticità del watermark e respingere l'attribuzione.
