Condivido.Molto interessante.I big data e i beni immateriali costituiscono, e costituiranno sempre più il "patrimonio" delle imprese (i.e. persone giuridiche) e delle persone fisiche.Un giacimento di petrolio.Ma carente è la conoscenza e la consapevolezza in proposito Sarebbe importante trasmettere queste realtà (che spesso vengono percepite ancora lontane).Sono il.presente, non il futuro.Grazie per aver condiviso.Saluti a tutti.c. This does not mean finding “best practices” for “ethical use” of a specific technology. This does not mean pressing pause for a time, only to restart when everybody has calmed down. This does not mean selling facial recognition to everybody but police. All of those reforms leave in place a system of control that is already too dangerous, too expansive, and too powerful. Casting in amber the existing arrangement of technological politics is not good enough. Not all innovation deserves to exist; much of the technologies that fuel surveillance and policing should never have been created in the first place. Oppure vogliamo fare il "cherry picking" di quali sono le "tecnologie" (il software) buone e quelle "cattive"? Per esempio, ci sono ormai valangate di evidenze che portano alla conclusione che l'esecuzione dei Javascript nei browser è altamente tossica: anche per quello proporrei il divieto! :-) Non è piuttosto che il problema risiede nel sempre maggiore squilibro di potere _inglobato_ nella tecnologia, Internet ne è la dimostrazione *lampante* (chi è sufficientemente potente fa un po' quello che vuole con il software e i dati che girano nella rete) ...a ecco: --8<---------------cut here---------------start------------->8--- The existing order of power is untenable. URGENTISSIMO - INTRODOTTA NORMA x obbligare gli ISP alla CENSURA nella conversione del decreto intercettazioni

Guardate che bel regalino è contenuto nella conversione del decreto intercettazioni (decreto-legge 30 aprile 2020, n. 28) appena passato al senato. Rammento che l'approvazione definitiva dovrà avvenire entro il 29 giugno ed adesso il provvedimento è alla camera che se lo modifica togliendo questo abominio allora il testo dovrà fare un nuovo passaggio in senato per la votazione da parte dello stesso delle modifiche introdotte dalla camera. =============== Articolo 7-bis. (Sistemi di protezione dei minori dai rischi del cyberspazio) 1. I contratti di fornitura nei servizi di comunicazione elettronica disciplinati dal codice di cui al decreto legislativo 1° agosto 2003, n. 259 devono prevedere tra i servizi preattivati sistemi di parental control ovvero di filtro di contenuti inappropriati per i minori e di blocco a contenuti riservati ad un pubblico di età superiore agli anni diciotto. 2. Questi servizi devono essere gratuiti e disattivabili solo su richiesta del consumatore, titolare del contratto. 3. Gli operatori di telefonia, di reti televisive e di comunicazioni elettroniche assicurano altresì adeguate forme di pubblicità di tali servizi in modo da assicurare che i consumatori possano compiere scelte informate. 4. In caso di violazione degli obblighi di cui ai commi precedenti l'Autorità per le garanzie nelle comunicazioni ordina all'operatore la cessazione della condotta e la restituzione delle eventuali somme ingiustificatamente addebitate agli utenti, indicando in ogni caso un termine non inferiore a sessanta giorni entro cui adempiere. Chi lo ha scritto non si rende conto che è inapplicabile e di sicuro non ha consultato nessuno degli ISP ma soprattutto non ha presente che nessuno si prenderà la responsabilità di compilare e mantenere aggiornata la lista dei siti da oscurare, visto che non c'e' una norma che definisca compiutamente ed univocamente questa lista e quindi non si rende conto che per opposti motivi sta mettendo gli ISP a rischio di continue cause da parte degli utenti sia in buona fede che in mala fede ... in pratica verrà creata una nuova fonte di ingolfamento dei tribunali e della polizia. End-to-End Encryption Update - Zoom Blog

La end-to-end encryption di Zoom ha fatto diversi passi avanti e indietro, incluso quello di renderla disponibile solo agli abbonati. L'ultimo è questo: disponibile per tutti, anche gli utenti non registrati, a condizione che non siano anonimi: devono fornire dati personali atti a reindentificarli, come il numero di telefono. La ragione fornita è "to reduce the mass creation of abusive accounts", ma immagino sia anche perché almeno i metadati siano attribuibili a soggetti identificabili (e il n. di telefono è il tipico "selector") Per alcuni non è esclusa la possibilità è che Zoom sia costretto a conservare le chiavi per poterle consegnare a richiesta, stile Hushmail (<https://www.wired.com/2007/11/encrypted-e-mai/>). Sempre che queste non siano già disponibili, come già sospettato ad inizio aprile <https://citizenlab.ca/2020/04/move-fast-roll-your-own-crypto-a-quick-look-a…>.
