Tali dataset dovranno essere: distribuiti gratuitamente (salvo eccezioni); machine readable; forniti mediante API e forniti mediante download in blocco (se del caso). Il considerando 66 menziona dati come codici di avviamento postale, carte nazionali e locali (chissà se i dati catastali vi rientrano?), registri delle imprese e identificativi di registrazione. Cari tutti, Mi permetto di segnalare che la revisione della Direttiva sul riutilizzo dei dati pubblici è stata approvata lo scorso 6 giugno 2019. Non appena verrà attribuito un numero al nuovo testo, potremo quindi leggere le nuove regole in materia di riutilizzo di dati pubblici e Open Data. Se ho ben capito, tra le novità vi sono (anche): 1. Il rafforzamento del principio di gratuità (e cioè il riuso potrà avvenire a costo zero e non più marginale, come invece indicava la revisione del 2013); 2. Il rafforzamento delle licenze aperte (e cioè non si potrà condizionare il riuso dei dati, salvo in caso di necessità); 3. L'estensione dell'ambito di applicazione della direttiva alle imprese di servizio pubblico (ad alcune condizioni) Vi è poi il tema dei dati della ricerca finanziata con fondi pubblici, che va coordinato con la Comunicazione CE "Towards better access to scientific information: Boosting the benefits of public investments in research" del 2012; e con una Raccomandazione CE del 2012 e rivista nel 2018, sull'accesso, preservazione dell'informazione scientifica. An international team led by KU Leuven, published in Nature Communications, found that ur physical appearance, including our face, is hardwired into our genetic material. Peter Claes of KU Leuven, the senior and corresponding author of the study, said in a statement: "We believe that the shape of our face is determined by thousands of genes, but also by the food we eat and other living conditions. Therefore, it is unlikely that we will ever be able to accurately predict a lifelike face from DNA alone." The team noted that scientists have already identified multiple genes that determine the shape of our face—from the distance between our nostrils to the shape of our chin. However, they added that it was not accurate to identify people. “This method mostly helps rule people out,” Claes said. “In practice, we don’t usually get any further than a sort of reference face, such as ‘a European male.’ That’s not much use to a forensic investigator.”

HART will reside in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) FedRAMP certified GovCloud. Data will be stored in PostgreSQL databases for textual data and Amazon S3 data stores for image data." Nella RFI il DHS informa che nella nuova versione del software, "Examiner tools /must/ enable operations which include fingerprint, iris, and face matching modalities. OBIM /may/ implement additional modalities such as DNA; palm print; voice; scars, marks, and tattoos; contactless fingerprint; and other emerging biometric modalities."
