Dalle mie precedenti ricerche e da una rapida ricerca che ho effettuato ora, non esiste nessuna evidenza che il processo sia presieduto da un "AI judge": finché non sono chiaramente riferiti il video e/o il paper citato direi che questa è la vera (e unica) notizia che puzza di falso storico. A me suona di propaganda (che ovviamente include anche cose vere). Poi, sul fatto che Internet sia usato come mezzo di sorveglianza dei cittadini da parte di alcuni stati _e_ multinazionali ormai non **devono** esserci più dubbi; sfido però chiuque a sostenere che in questo la Cina è avanti rispetto ad altre nazioni ;-) (anzi semmai in Cina probabilmente è lo stato che orienta le scelte politiche in campo tecnologico che inlfuenzano le imprese, non viceversa) Anche sul fatto che l'occidente sia preoccupato del fatto che la Cina abbia deciso da tempo di risolvere "a modo suo" i problemi di sovranità digitale ci sono pochi dubbi; però diamo loro atto che forse hanno ragione e che qualcosina anche l'Europa sta timidamente cercando di fare, senza troppe fanfare. Ma soprattutto: cosa c'entra questo con il processo civile online su casi ben circoscritti? Anche il Canada ha un "tribunale civile online": https://civilresolutionbc.ca/ Chissà se quancuno a Nanchino ha mai scritto che in Canada ci sono giudici SALAMI? ...mi rammarico di non conoscere il cinese! China is encouraging digitization to streamline case-handling within its sprawling court system using cyberspace and technologies like blockchain and cloud computing, the country’s Supreme People’s Court said in a new policy paper. The efforts include a “mobile court” offered on popular social media platform WeChat that has already handled more than 3 million legal cases or other judicial procedures since its launch in March, according to the Supreme People’s Court. The paper was released this past week as judicial authorities gave journalists a glimpse inside a “cybercourt” — the country’s first — established in 2017 in the eastern city of Hangzhou to deal with legal disputes that have a digital aspect. In a demonstration, authorities showed how the Hangzhou Internet Court operates, featuring an online interface in which litigants appear by video chat while an AI judge — complete with on-screen avatar — prompts them to present their cases. “Does the defendant have any objection to the nature of the judicial blockchain evidence submitted by the plaintiff?” the black-robed virtual judge, sitting under China’s national emblem, asked in a pre-trial meeting. “No objection,” a human plaintiff answered. Cases that are handled at the Hangzhou court include online trade disputes, copyright cases and e-commerce product liability claims. Litigants can register their civil complaints online and later log on for their court hearing. Putting simple functions like that in the hands of the virtual judge helps ease the burden on human justices, who monitor the proceedings and make the major rulings in each case, officials said. The digitization push is partly to help courts keep up with a growing caseload created by mobile payments and e-commerce in China, which has the world’s largest number of mobile internet users at around 850 million. “(Concluding cases) at a faster speed is a kind of justice, because justice delayed is justice denied,” Hangzhou Internet Court Vice President Ni Defeng said. Ni added that the use of blockchain technology is particularly useful, helping to streamline and create clearer records of the legal process. Since the Hangzhou court’s establishment, China has set up similar chambers in Beijing and the southern metropolis of Guangzhou. Together they have accepted a total of 118,764 cases and concluded 88,401, the Supreme People’s Court said. The “mobile court” option on WeChat — China’s leading social-media messaging platform — allows users to complete case filings, hearings and evidence exchange without physically appearing in court. Jack Dorsey wants to decentralize Twitter - Decrypt

And the goal will be to have Twitter conform to that standard. "Twitter is funding a small independent team of up to five open source architects, engineers, and designers to develop an open and decentralized standard for social media. The goal is for Twitter to ultimately be a client of this standard," Dorsey tweeted. Twitter's CTO Parag Agrawal will be leading the team, which will be called Bluesky. Dorsey highlighted some of the problems that the current swathe of centralized social media sites face, such as addressing misleading information. He also said that many of these sites promote controversy rather than healthy conversation. This could be summed up as some of the problems of Web2—the current Web we use today. Instead he pointed to the principle of decentralization, and key technologies, such as blockchain, as the solution. These are generally seen as the building blocks of Web3. "Finally, new technologies have emerged to make a decentralized approach more viable. Blockchain points to a series of decentralized solutions for open and durable hosting, governance, and even monetization. Much work to be done, but the fundamentals are there," he said. However, Dorsey acknowledged there will be a tough road ahead.
