Attualmente rojadirecta usa acestream, mentre altri siti utilizzano sopcast. Sono entrambi due protocolli p2p (uno dei quali utilizza lo stesso protocollo bittorrent. Fare streaming dietro rete TOR non e` consigliabile, la latenza e` molto alta e si puo` congestionare la rete facilmente. Questo comunque non dovrebbe essere un problema dato che acecast e sopcast sono distribuiti e quindi un blocco a livello IP e` impensabile. In tutti i casi Rojadirecta non permette l'accesso da rete TOR e nella maggior parte dei casi concede la visione solo tramite plugin da browser che non condividono lo stream. Questo mi suggerisce che i gestori del sito non hanno l'obiettivo di creare una comunita` p2p. By conducting sustained monitoring of online driver forums and interviewing Uber drivers, we explore worker experiences within the on-demand economy. We argue that Uber’s digitally and algorithmically mediated system of flexible employment builds new forms of surveillance and control into the experience of using the system, which result in asymmetries around information and power for workers. In Uber’s system, algorithms, CSRs, passengers, semiautomated performance evaluations, and the rating system all act as a combined substitute for direct managerial control over drivers, but distributed responsibility for remote worker management also exacerbates power asymmetries between Uber and its drivers. *You are not what you read: librarians purge user data to protect privacy* /US libraries are doing something even the most security-conscious private firm would never dream of: deleting sensitive information in order to protect users/ Last week, with little fanfare, the Graduate Center at the City University of New York did something very few private companies would ever do to protect its users’ privacy: it quietly began to purge its interlibrary loan records. “This policy change is motivated by the idea that libraries should not keep more information about their users’ requests than necessary,” wrote Beth Posner, head of library resource sharing at the school. “We will continue to keep all requests from 2013 forward until further notice; eventually we will only keep a rolling history of one year or less, though, in order to help ensure that ILL requests remain confidential,” she told students and faculty in the email. “Previously, you could find a list of everything you ever requested through ILL.” Perhaps that sounds like harmless information, but Polly Thistlethwaite, chief librarian at the Graduate Center, said that guilt by association with controversial books has a long history and that librarians have a duty to protect readers of “heretical texts”.
