Ho incontrato ad Amsterdam in CTO di Chicago Sun Times che ha implementato per primo un pagamento con bitcoin per gli abbonamenti, con ottimi risultati e adesso sta per introdurre un nuovo tipo di pubblicità che offre sconti ai lettori che pagano i biglietti di spettacoli con bitcoin. Questo sarà presente sia nella versione online che in quella stampata del quotidiano. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152035512172056&set=oa.6554223911… Fa sicuramente pensare che nemmeno quelli che hanno le risorse più ingenti da mettere sul campo, come il NYT, riescano a svolgere la matassa... Instead, it’s getting something of conduit that allows a user to choose to bolt on EME when protected content is accessed. The process should go like this: fire up an HTML5 video on Netflix for the first time, and Firefox will say “Hey, you need EME support. Do you want me to fetch it from Adobe (who’s supplying the actual DRM bits) for you?” If you say yes, then Firefox opens the portal, sucks down the component, and you’re good to go. Enjoy all the DRM-wrapped content you want! If, however, the idea of DRM repulses you, well, then you can simply say no and that’s that. And really, if you hate DRM that much you probably shouldn’t be subscribing to Netflix anyway. What Mozilla is implementing isn’t fundamentally any different than the way it handles plug-ins like Flash, Silverlight, or Java. Stumble across a web page with Firefox when you don’t have one of them installed, and it’ll prompt you. What it won’t do, though, is automatically install that plug-in. That choice is yours. If you don’t like the thought of Flash or Silverlight invading your DRM-free PC, then you can simply deny the installation. pero' non si trova un fisioterapista ne' un dentista il sabato! una chiave e' il current "> ‘workers for 80 percent of current jobs.’" e cmq. non ci credo. in una grande organizzazione una vasta fetta delle persone fa lavori che sarebbero gia' oggi "eliminabili". passano il tempo in riunioni a intermdiare per ottenere consenso e gestire un processo *interpretando* quello che probabilmente sono i desideri del capo. pensate a una telco, o a una utility, a parte il call center, il personale fa lavori non sostituibili da robot. ma nemmeno il verduraio (si, mia moglie va dal verduraio che c'e' in paese da sempre) e il macellaio (che alleva e macella, da poco) e quei pochi che non si vestono comprando nei grandi magazzini dove sostanzialmente le commesse gestiscono casse e ripiegano capi, sa che la commessa del negozio interpreta il tuo stile guardandoti e ti propone la merce. certo, a comprare l'assicurazione o in banca chi ci va piu' ? (gia' oggi) e le agenzie aeree in via larga a milano sono sparite ed edicole e librerie in 30 anni non ci saranno (salvo cose da collezionisti) e avremo meno immigrati sfruttati per raccogliere pomodori e vendemmiare, perche' molti campi di grano gia' oggi li gestisce da sola una persona.. e il meccanico o il carroziere che ti riparano l'auto hanno il computer per la diagnosi e gli strumenti che li collochi e agiscono ma non credo che accetteremo che computer da soli guidino le auto (perche' dovremmo ? sarebbe come pensare che non leggimao piu' perche' c'e' la sintesi vocale). certo, ci aiuteranno a fare meno incidenti. ma quando c'e' unincidente, occore un umano a cui dare la colpa. certamente possiamo mangiare la pizza idratata, ma preferiamo il pizzaiolo egiziano ... nel frattempo, per tornare all'inizio, un fisioterapista oggi inizia a lavorare molto prima di laurearsi, per l'eccesso di domanda che e' superiore a quella degli informatici degli anni '90. (e di certo guadagna piu' di un sistemista e non gli chiedono mai "puoi dare una occhiata a questa anca che mi da' fastidio ?" aspettandosi di non pagare!) insomma, non vedo un cambiamento tanto traumatico.
