Riprendendo l'interessante intervista raccolta da Anna Masera e pubblicata la scorsa settimana, ho scritto un breve articolo sulla FreedomBox promossa da Moglen. L'avvocato hacker punta ancora il dito contro il cloud computing, i grandi social network e tutti quei servizi che, con l’esca seducente della gratuità e della comodità (e spesso anche quella più subdola del "ce l’hanno tutti; devo averlo anch’io!"), portano a rinunciare a buone fette della nostra privacy e del controllo sui nostri dati. Altroché! Attraverso questa piattaforma, molti progetti cinematografici (tra cui uno che sto seguendo con degli amici) riescono ad ottenere (quasi) sempre le risorse necessarie. Il sito http://produzionidalbasso.com é tra i siti pionieri del crowdfunding (almeno in Italia), anche se vi sono altri degni concorrenti: per esempio, Eppela (http://www.eppela.com) o Starteed (http://www.starteed.com) (oltre al bel progetto Cineama (http://www.cineama.it) , capace di coniugare anche aspetti social e di creazione partecipativa). Le maggiori differenze risiedono nel meccanismo di gestione della raccolta fondi e nella percentuale trattenuta dalla piattaforma al termine della raccolta. Questione estremamente interessante anche da un punto di vista giuridico: è una procedura importata dagli USA, pertanto, non esistendo veri contratti di "crowdfunding", le piattaforme non curano tale aspetto e molti proponenti si arrangiano come possono...
