This piece is ignoring "Why ads are devastating the users you are". Sites that have endorsed a model where they force contents on users that the users do not want are now begging for our understanding. They would use their time and ours better by asking us to pay them or support them, and by inventing models where this can be done without creating attention or transaction costs. [NEXA]Google-Vividown, privacy, libertà di espressione.

Ecco un buon esempio di zona grigia: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?v=wall&ref=mf&gid=358735789264 Al di là delle riflessioni politiche (che del tutto irrilevanti in questa sede), chi decide se questo gruppo del social network è legittima espressione di dissenso (in forma piuttosto forte ma pur sempre dissenso) oppure eversione, o condotta penalmente rilevante adottando la catalogazione del codice penale (p.es. art. 290 cp)? In questo esempio, l'aspetto privacy non rileva, ma se rilevasse sarebbe più importante la privacy o la libertà di espressione? E ancora: deve sindacare il privato (service provider o terzo) o la pubblica autorità? Serve un contraddittorio? Deve prevalere l'interesse del singolo ad esprimersi (con conseguente diritto di non veder rimosso il gruppo e correlativo obbligo di non rimuoverlo), del gestore del servizio (con conseguente facoltà di rimuovere il gruppo), i terzi (ovvero chi a sua volta ritiene di subire presunti effetti violenti o illeciti dell'esercizio della libertà di espressione) o la pubblica autorità (e quale pubblica autorità per l'esattezza?).
