Telecom e il server smtp

Telecom ha deciso di bloccare sui contratti business il server smtp richiedendo l'autenticazione. Anche se non vuoi i loro servizi aggiuntivi di posta, il protocollo è bloccato. O paghi 1,50 € al mese o la tua posta non la invii. Nei profili commerciali ovviamente nulla si dice. Se vuoi inviare posta sei costretto ad abbonarti a parte, non si sa bene a cosa, solo per ricevere user e pass per autenticarti sui loro server smtp. Il protocollo di posta NON è più compreso in internet, o almeno nella favolosa offerta "Internet 20 mega". Al di là delle implicazioni di chiarezza commerciale, chiedo ai tecnici in lista: è normale? un protocollo che nella mia mente di non tecnico è sempre stato parte fondamentale insieme all' http di ciò che chiamiamo "internet" può esser commercialmente filtrato su server che paghi a parte? Può darsi che io commetta errori e mi senta solo buggerato e fesso, avendo aderito a "impresasemplice": così semplice che per far quello che ho sempre fatto, ovvero inviare la posta dal mio client, ora devo pagare per autenticarmi. Insomma, al di là della assenza di informazioni nelle offerte commerciali, chiedo cosa ne pensa AGICOM o dico una scemenza? Carlo

Codice Azuni sì o Codice Azuni no A Vilnius, in occasione dell'Internet Governance Forum, l'Italia ha proposto una sua via per lavorare a una "Carta dei diritti di Internet". Questa via si chiama Codice Azuni. Wired.it ha seguito direttamente in Lituania la presentazione dell'iniziativa del nostro Governo. Un'iniziativa che secondo molti, Fiorello Cortiana in primis, non tiene conto del lavoro fin qui svolto dall'Italia all'interno dell' Internet Governance Forum e in particolare dal noto giurista Stefano Rodotà. Wired.it ha quindi deciso di aprire sul suo sito (e su tutti i suoi luoghi in Rete: Facebook, Twitter e così via) un dibattito pubblico sul Codice Azuni. Voi cosa ne pensate? These findings are consistent with those of the Oberholzer-Gee / Strumpf report presented at the 2010 Vienna Music Research days and published in the NBER Series. They add some very interesting information on the number of artists (30% growth) and their specific average income (60% average income growth). The latter may not necessarily be valid everywhere (in particular because Norway has seen an important growth in grants and subsidies which is not witnessed on other countries). Unfortunately, there is little information on the distribution of this income among artists. In all countries, live performance is the fastest growing source of income, but in many countries, it is extremely concentrated on some leading tours and connected to a strong increase in the price of tickets. Anche qui: non è Internet, sono le reazioni neotribali all'integrazione della globalizzazione degli integralisti come il reverendo Jones e dei Talebani a costituire il problema. E' l'incapacità di riformare l'ONU in chiave multilaterale ad impedire l'azione di una sovranità politica democratica. Piuttosto la rete digitale si presenta come una impresa cognitiva collettiva, come il più grande spazio pubblico fino ad ora conosciuto dall'umanità, uno spazio dove la creazione di un'opinione pubblica avvertita è resa possibile dall'accesso disintermediato alle informazioni e dalla condivisione della conoscenza, nonché dalla possibilità di verificare la veridicità di possibili bufale o luoghi comuni a carattere ideologico o religioso. Attribuire a questo ecosistema cognitivo una soggettività in sé, non solo non corrisponde al vero, ma diventa un alibi che impedisce di aggiornare le categorie della politica legate ad una geografia bipolare o imperiale del secolo scorso. La questione vera che sta dietro le preoccupazioni di Giorello e Galli Della Loggia rimanda piuttosto alla necessità che le democrazie hanno di rigenerarsi dopo i blocchi, dopo Yalta e dopo le ideologie. Se non vogliamo il neotribalismo locale delle piccole patrie padane o le derive plebiscitarie del personalismo mediatico, non è sufficiente alcuna soluzione simbolica attraverso recuperi aggiornati di identità passate. Occorre favorire processi di partecipazione informata tanto alla politica pubblica quanto alle forme organizzate della partecipazione politica per la definizione di identità inedite ed originali condivise: occorre adeguare la riflessione intellettuale. In questo senso la rete digitale, come estensione dello spazio e delle risorse di comunicazione, si propone come una straordinaria opportunità, un valore aggiunto per un regime democratico vissuto da una comunità consapevole che si confronta sui nodi della realtà locale e globale che la riguarda. Parents worry that violent games make their children antisocial, violent, shallow, and obese, and are breeding a generation that cannot sustain their concentration. Screen time is routinely limited, much to the chagrin of their keyboard-pounding offspring. Help is at hand in the form of a new study from cognitive scientists at the University of Rochester. As we report in this week's issue <http://www.economist.com/node/17027825> of /The Economist/, this suggests that video gamers make faster and more accurate decisions. The work is published in /Current Biology/. What was particularly interesting was that the faster reaction times of the video gamers could be acquired by non-video gamers in 50 hours of training over a few weeks.
