The company’s plan to digitize every book ever published and make them widely available was derailed on Tuesday when a federal judge in New York rejected a sweeping $125 million legal settlement the company had worked out with groups representing authors and publishers. The decision throws into legal limbo one of the most ambitious undertakings in Google’s history, and it brings into sharp focus concerns about the company’s growing power over information. Mah... io ne ho parlato su Wired qui http://www.dicorinto.it/testate/wired/wikileaks-sul-copyright-gli-usa-influ… fra una settimana esce un mio nuovo pezzo all'interno del nuovo mensile di Emergency (bellissimo magazine, fa concorrenza a Wired di carta...) e poi ne parleremo inevitabilmente col bravo Nicola D'Angelo (consigliere AGCOM) e credo anche con un ministro (motivi di sicurezza rendono difficile la conferma), proprio al festival del Giornalismo di Perugia (Fabio, lo so che lì ci vedremo, se vuoi portare un contributo sei benvenuto)... In ogni caso io ho aderito alla campagna sitononraggiungibile.it ciao

Personalmente ho aderito all'iniziativa perchè da un punto di vista strettamente giuridico (come peraltro brillantemente argomentato anche dal Centro Nexa nel suo documento di risposta alla consultazione pubblica dell'AGCOM) ritengo che l'AGCOM non possa arrogarsi poteri di intervento tout court in materia di diritto d'autore.
