Nel caso vi fosse sfuggito, importante intervento di Stefano Rodotà (garante NEXA) sul tema dei beni comuni. juan carlos IL VALORE DEI BENI COMUNI 05 gennaio 2012 --- pagina 26 sezione: COMMENTI Si può dire che il 2011 sia stato l' anno (anche) dei beni comuni. Espressione, questa, fino a poco tempo fa assente nella discussione pubblica, del tutto priva d' interesse per la politica, anche se il premio Nobel per l' economia era stato assegnato nel 2009 a Elinor Ostrom proprio peri suoi studi in questa materia. Poi, quasi all' improvviso, l' Italia ha cominciato ad essere percorsa da quella che Franco Cassano aveva chiamato la "ragionevole follia dei beni comuni". E questo è avvenuto perché la forza delle cose ha imposto un mutamento dell' agenda politica con il referendum sull' acqua come "bene comune". Da quel momento in poi è stato tutto un succedersi di iniziative concrete e di riflessioni teoriche, che hanno portato alla scoperta di un mondo nuovoe all' estensione di quel riferimento ai casi più disparati. Si parla di beni comuni per l' acqua e per la conoscenza, per la Rai e per il teatro Valle occupato, per l' impresa,e via elencando. Nelle pagine culturali di un quotidiano campeggiava qualche mese fa un titolo perentorio: "I poeti sono un bene comune". L' inflazione non è un pericolo soltanto in economia. Si impone, quindi, un bisogno di distinzionee di chiarimento, proprio per impedire che un uso inflattivo dell' espressione la depotenzi. I wanted to take some time to delve into the text of both of these bills, and outline their potential consequences as I am able to understand them. You can be a part of this, and your field does not have to be Computer Science.* Mozilla in the classroom – and beyond Mozilla? Certainly, you have heard about us. Mozilla is best known for its work on the Firefox web browser <http://getfirefox.com/> and the Thunderbird mail client <http://getfirefox.com/> but that is not all there is to Mozilla, far from it. The activities of Mozilla reach largely beyond a few software products. The objective of the Mozilla project is to promote an *open*, *participative* web. For this purpose, we have developed and promoted Firefox, Thunderbird, open standards, add-ons, and countless experiments and innovations. For this purpose, we want to work with you. The TGH program offers residents the ability to improve their quality of life as new members of the online community. *What is Tech Goes Home?* Tech Goes Home (TGH) is an 11 year old, broadband education program, recognized by the FCC's National Broadband Plan for excellence in broadband adoption programming as well as being the recipient of Verizon's National Tech Savvy Award. In collaboration with Mayor Menino, Boston Public Schools, the Boston Center for Youth and Family Services, the Boston Public Library, the Timothy Smith Network, and the Boston Housing Association, TGH reaches thousands of Boston families and citizens. The NEXA Center for Internet & Society is an Associate Partner of LAST-JD. The NEXA Center will collaborate to the development of the curriculum, suggesting topics for courses, seminars and theses, and offer internships to interested candidates. The program covers three different research fields with its curricula: - *Bioethics and Biolaw*, which looks at the legal and ethical issues arising in connection with advances in biology and medicine; - *ICT Law*, addressing the legal risks and opportunities in ICT; - *Legal Informatics*, an area of informatics that takes law as its subject matter, developing techniques with which to manage the legal domain. This program promotes European excellence, innovation, and competitiveness in such critical legal and ethical fields as the regulation of privacy, genomics and biobanks, e-government, e-health and e-commerce, the right of free speech on the Internet and intellectual property rights (IPR) with respect to the new technologies. Moreover, the program furthers the design of new software to support the legal profession, including systems based on the explicit representation of laws and regulations in a computable form, as well as systems for checking compliance with international, European, and national legalframeworks and systems in AI & Law. Any unauthorized usage of the speech and a number of other speeches by King -- including inPBSdocumentaries -- is a violation of American law. You'd be hard pressed to find a good complete video version on the web, and it's not even to be found in the new digital archive ofthe King Center's website <http://www.thekingcenter.org/archive>.
