Più rilevante è la capacità di ri-presentare riflessioni e punti di vista magari formulati da millenni in maniera pregnante per l'epoca in cui il testo saggistico viene pubblicato, nel contesto linguistico e nella temperie culturale in cui si colloca, ritessendo una ragnatela di relazioni con altri discorsi. Potrei portare moltissimi esempi, mi limito a un testo citatissimo che pochissime persone hanno letto e meno ancora compreso: "La società dello spettacolo" di Guy Debord. Personaggio sgradevole, di rara supponenza, ubriacone autoritario e maschilista, è stato capace di ri-proporre temi e considerazione articolate da altri autori in testi molto più ponderosi, adattandoli a un'epoca ansiosa, intollerante della lentezza dell'argomentazione pacata (male, per me) e del manierismo concettuale (bene, IMHO). Un'epoca pubblicitaria, diciamo. Debord cita pochissimo le sue fonti, che rimaneggia in maniera a dir poco invereconda: un ottimo modo per sembrare originali. Giusto? Aveva qualcosa di nuovo da dire? Discutibile. Non so. cmq ha funzionato. "la società dello spettacolo" è diventata espressione abusatissima. Un esempio narrativo: la fanfiction. "Cinquanta sfumature di grigio" ecc. è una fanfiction "professionalizzata" di Twilight, una saga di vampiri e licantropi. I topos fiabeschi (psicanalitici?) sono evidenti: Barbablù, la bella addormentata nel bosco, ecc ecc. Giusto? cose nuove da dire? non so. cmq ha funzionato, anche commercialmente: decine di milioni di copie vendute un esempio di tutt'altra caratura, di uno dei pochi grandi autori italiani contemporanei: Decamerone, di Aldo Busi. Riscrittura in italiano contemporaneo del capolavoro di Boccaccio. Giusto non so, cose nuove da dire zero, ma semplicemente delizioso. quindi: forse l'innovazione a tutti i costi e avere qualcosa di originale da dire è un parametro essenziale nell'ingegneria di cui lei, se non ricordo male, è fiero alfiere. Ma quale ingegneria? civile? industriale? aerospaziale? gestionale? mi è capitato con alcune colleghe di tradurre da formati proprietari a wikimedia (web F/LOSS, per quanto fatto abbastanza male secondo me) oltre ottocento pagine del Manuale dell'ingegnere civile e ambientale per Hoepli: ho avuto modo di constatare che non tutti gli autori ingegneri (quindi una porzione della saggistica "scientifica", qualsiasi cosa voglia dire) sono uguali. C'è chi semplicemente vede SOLO la propria ristrettissima materia/disciplina. Chi ha interessi più vasti. Chi si pone in maniera dialogica, chi invece fa cadere dall'alto il proprio sapere. Insomma c'è di tutto. Del resto, nemmeno la saggistica è tutta uguale. Nonostante gran parte delle decine di migliai di titoli che si pubblicano all'anno in italia sia più che superflua rimasticazione e spreco inutile di carta inchiostri e occhi sugli schermi a "impaginare" robaccia (i dipartimenti universitari senz'altro contribuiscono non poco alla pubblicazione di saggi-non-saggi, che mai arriveranno in libreria), "la gente" non c'entra proprio nulla, poiché "la gente" è un'astrazione qualunquista, a mio parere, di fantasie (e timori) perlopiù specchio delle classi dominanti, che vengono ripetute come mantra: per quanto in definitiva la gente siamo un po' tutti. Un'astrazione quindi che rispecchia una patente falsità, un po' come il "libero mercato" che oggi esiste ancor meno di ieri: infatti non esiste nessuna mano invisibile che farà emergere magicamente gli scritti meritevoli, separandoli dal loglio della gran massa. Esistono interessi e potentati portatori di quegli interessi, anche nell'editoria. Esistono relazioni di potere complesse. Nella mia esperienza di traduttore, autore ed editore, trovo che spesso il pubblico sia ben più preparato di quanto non si voglia ammettere nei circoli della gente che conta (non so se tali circoli esistano, ma tanti messaggi fanno riferimenti a qualche sfera decisionale inavvicinabile: quindi so per certo che non ne faccio parte). Ma per come funziona l'industria culturale, in particolare in Italia, il pubblico può prepararsi quanto vuole: per trovar cose interessanti dovrà armarsi di pazienza e con il lumicino andare alla ricerca di altro rispetto alle propagande diffuse dai media mainstream. e farlo circolare, con il passaparola. D'altra parte chi scrive, "la gente che scrive", non conta praticamente nulla nell'industria culturale attuale. Eccezion fatta per qualche pugno di autori noti che qualcosa vendono, a prescindere dalla loro capacità di scrittura. La qualità di quel che scrive, saggistico o narrativo che sia, conta ben poco (ci son sempre eccezioni, ma sono, appunto, eccezioni). Conta aver un budget; ma soprattutto conoscere qualcuno che possa esercitare influenza, ad esempio che conosca qualcuno in grado di sponsorizzare in TV (il luogo d'elezione per muovere le vendite, anche dei saggi), sui social, sui giornali, nei festival, nelle ospitate, presso agenti, promotori, insomma negli ambienti adeguati. Conta far parte di una linea di finanziamento, di un gruppo di pressione che qualcosa deve pur pubblicare. Conta sapersi vendere, non saper scrivere, né saper argomentare. oggi, per aggiunger disgrazie, conta anche aver "gente" sottopagata che lancia i dadi, pardon, "disegna per far accadere le cose" (prompt design) e così allegramente contribuendo alla catastrofe ecologica estrude robaccia che altra "gente" commenterà. perciò fare di tutta l'erba un fascio non aiuta. Lasciando il pessimismo per tempi migliori, quando ce lo potremo permettere, aiuta invece curare e far portare attenzione sulle scritture degne di tale attenzione. e per chi è arrivato fin qui a seguir 'sto pippone: certo, son d'accordo, "se non scrive è meglio". Questo val bene per chiunque. ... di realizzare strumenti per la verifica che un testo sia stato generato dall'Intelligenza Artificiale, visto che (oltre a sbagliare clamorosamente su un mio testo scritto interamente da me che è stato attribuito per il 71% all'IA - ma l'ultima volta che mi sono controllato mi son trovato sempre fatto della solita materia organica... 😂) poi la stessa società offre uno strumento per "umanizzare" il testo? Io ho provato GPTZero, giusto per fare nome e cognome, ma penso che altre startup simili mettano a disposizione prodotti simili. Mi sa tanto di un gigantesco gioco delle 3 carte... Buonasera a tutti (e grazie per i consigli ricevuti finora) Riassunto: copytrack e' una compagnia tedesca che, per conto di vari clienti, manda automaticamente e arbitrariamente richieste di risarcimento per violazione di copyright a chiunque i loro software ritengano potenziale violatore, per importi senza giustificazione apparente. Dopo la mia prima richiesta di informazioni, sono immediamente scesi a 200, SENZA fornire alcuna informazione. AL momento le cose stanno come potete leggere sotto, mancano solo URL e case number. La mia posizione? 1) io non me lo ricordo proprio dove presi quell'immagine 5 anni e mezzo fa, perche' scrivo tantissimo. Ma se una volta ho effettivamente, INAVVERTITAMENTE violato il copyright di qualcuno, in maniera che gli ha EFFETTIVAMENTE causato un danno di 200 Euro, paghero' quella cifra a chi ne ha diritto... 2) ma il modo di procedere di Copytrack e Caputo e' davvero insopportabile. Di lui non ho trovato nessun contatto, ma quello e' il meno. A parte tono e procedure di copytrack, quell'immagine che mi contestano si trova su tanti altri post online (che avranno sicuramente acquistato licenza)... ma non su Shutterstock e simili. Cioe' non si trova nessuna prova, ne' tramite motori di ricerca ne' da Copytrack, che quell'immagine era effettivamente in vendita, dove e a quale prezzo. Fra l'altro, ho notato su quegli altri siti che loro hanno una versione piu' grande. Ovvero, se anche avessi copiato qualcosa senza autorizzazione, sarebbe un thumbnail, non l'immagine effettivamente in vendita. E' indecente o no? Grazie per la pazienza, per altri consigli e anche a chi volesse rappresentarmi pro-bono se mai si andasse in tribunale per questa farsa. Il rispetto del copyright e' una cosa seria, ma questa pesca a strascico di sicuro non lo e'. Sarebbe bello se gli artisti seri imparassero a star lontani da chi li "protegge" in questo modo.
