*Why the NSA's Defense of Mass Data Collection Makes No Sense* /The U.S. intelligence community claims it's not spying on citizens until someone actually looks at the data it collects. It's what Director of National Intelligence James R. Clapper meant when he lied to Congress <https://www.eff.org/deeplinks/2013/06/director-national-intelligences-word-…>. When asked, "Does the NSA collect any type of data at all on millions or hundreds of millions of Americans?" he replied, "No sir, not wittingly." To him, the definition of "collect" requires that a human look at it. So when the NSA collects---using the dictionary definition of the word---data on hundreds of millions of Americans, it's not /really/ collecting it, because only computers process it. The NSA maintains that we shouldn't worry about human processing, either, because it has rules about accessing all that data. Mitico Marco, tanto AGCOM sta a preparare una guerra vietnam, il fronte in Italia è TNT Village, le release ci saranno sempre e di piu, se mi manda una sanzione, ScambioEtico (12 mesi ex 18 mesi per contro-rappresaglia FMP&PayPal) con ci sono i limiti, pubblico un torrent in rete il database dei torrent di TBT è arriva thepirateitalian o altri (thepiratesea, thepiratespaghetti etc), AGCOM non può vincere questa guerra, e quindi a che gli serve. AGCOM, Italy's independent Electronic Communications Authority, is on the verge of undertaking the power of ordering the removal of any online content that it deems to be in violation of the copyright law, without the need of the parliament or court approval. Despite strong criticism from NGOs, ISPs, other companies or legal practitioners, the authority' new Draft Regulation on Copyright Protection on Electronic Communication Networks allows it to black out foreign sites and take down Italian ones alleged to have infringed the copyright law, within 48 hours, without any court decision. Dear list members, The Council of Europe is working on a Guide on Human Rights for Internet Users (attached). The draft Guide aims at raising Internet users' awareness about human rights and fundamental freedoms online, providing a tool for people to use and rely upon when facing difficulties in the exercise of their rights and freedoms, focusing government efforts to respect, protect and promote human rights online and encouraging the private sector to act responsibly and with respect for people they contract with.
