People are getting sick of working in the “sharing” economy

We may have already reached peak “sharing” economy.Average monthly earnings on “labor” platforms such as Uber, which use technology to match workers (like drivers) to people who need a service (like riders), peaked in June 2014, according to new data from the JPMorgan Chase Institute, the research arm of JPMorgan Chase. On “capital” platforms such as Airbnb, which help people rent out assets like a car or spare room, the share of US adults participating has declined from the previous year.On both types of online platforms, wages are growing more slowly as is overall participation. I had a lot of help from my dad at the time. But I was hooked. I loved it. By the time I was 15, I was working part-time for my dad’s consulting firm. Mentre giustamente a livello del consiglio dei ministri si discute la questione dello strapotere e degli enormi profitti degli "Over The Top", molti colleghi caricano su YouTube materiale didattico importante. E' un regalo, assolutamente gratuito, a uno degli OTT, regalo che produce soltanto danni alla scuola italiana. Per convincervi della dimensione del danno vi scrivo soltanto due delle clausole capestro dell'accordo con YouTube: * non è consentito accedere ai Contenuti per qualsiasi ragione diversa dall'uso esclusivamente personale e non commerciale come inteso tramite, e permesso dalla, normale funzionalità del Servizio, ed esclusivamente per Streaming. "Streaming" indica una trasmissione digitale in contemporanea del materiale da parte di YouTube tramite Internet verso uno strumento abilitato all'accesso ad Internet operato da un utente in modo tale che i dati sono resi disponibili per una visione in tempo reale e non sono invece disponibili per il download (sia permanente che temporaneo), per essere copiati, conservati, o ridistribuiti dall'utente; * non è consentito copiare, riprodurre, distribuire, trasmettere, diffondere, visualizzare, vendere, concedere in licenza o comunque sfruttare i Contenuti per alcuna altra finalità senza il previo consenso scritto di YouTube o dei rispettivi concedenti di licenza dei Contenuti. A prescindere dal fatto che non mi pare opportuno mescolare contenuti didattici con centinaia di filmati porno, il danno per la scuola è rappresentato dal fatto che l'insegnante non può copiare o ritagliare parte di un filmato o addirittura utilizzare dati che, per il fatto di essere stati regalati a YouTube, non possono più essere utilizzati nell'insegnamento.
