Ciao a tutti, chiaramente il valore statistico di questi dati è da dimostrare, però i dati che speedtest.net mette a disposizione sulla media per nazione delle velocità di connessione sono desolanti per l'Italia: http://netindex.com/download/allcountries/ Tra l'altro il disegnino a fianco (che rappresenta l'andamento negli ultimi due anni e mezzo) mostra come siamo uno dei pochi paesi dove non vi è alcun vero trend di miglioramento nel tempo... Buona serata nonostante tutto Andrea http://www.repubblica.it/tecnologia/2011/03/23/news/basta_link_a_siti_di_fi… Sentenza italiana contro Yahoo "Basta link ai siti di film pirata"Da Tribunale una decisione destinata a far discutere: il motore di ricerca è responsabile se nei risultati appaiono collegamenti a pagine che violano il diritto d'autore: "Interpretazione unica al mondo" di ALESSANDRO LONGO Per la prima volta la magistratura ha stabilito il principio della responsabilità dei motori di ricerca nel mancato contrasto alla pirateria online. La nona Sezione del Tribunale di Roma "inibisce a Yahoo! la prosecuzione e la ripetizione della violazione dei diritti di sfruttamento economico sul film 'About Elly' mediante il collegamento a mezzo dell'omonimo motore di ricerca ai siti riproducenti in tutto o in parte l'opera, diversi dal sito ufficiale del film". La nona sezione del Tribunale ha quindi obbligato Yahoo! a offrire, nei risultati, solo risultati "ufficiali", inibendo la prosecuzione e la ripetizione della violazione dei diritti di sfruttamento economico sul film About Elly mediante il collegamento a mezzo dell'omonimo motore di ricerca ai siti riproducenti in tutto o in parte l'opera, diversi dal sito ufficiale del film", si legge infatti nella sentenza. Il giudice ha riconosciuto che i motori di ricerca non possano esercitare "un controllo preventivo sui contenuti dei siti sorgente a cui è effettuato il link". Nondimeno, ha deciso in tal senso perché Yahoo! sapeva della violazione del copyright ma non ha rimosso comunque i link ai siti pirata. Per questo motivo il giudice ne ha riconosciuto la responsabilità. La società di produzione cinematografica PFA, che distribuisce il film in Italia, aveva infatti mandato a Yahoo! una diffida, senza successo, chiedendo di ripulire i risultati della ricerca dai "siti riproducenti in tutto o in parte l'opera diversi dal sito ufficiale del film", si legge ancora nella sentenza. E' intervenuta quindi Open Gate Italia, società che segue le controversie sul copyright, portando avanti la causa in rappresentanza di Pfa. Open Gate ha fatto notare al tribunale che, facendo una ricerca con le parole "About Elly" su Yahoo!, il sito ufficiale del film non era nemmeno tra le prime posizioni, scalzato da link a pagine che consentivano di scaricare il film.

Mah... io ne ho parlato su Wired qui http://www.dicorinto.it/testate/wired/wikileaks-sul-copyright-gli-usa-influ… fra una settimana esce un mio nuovo pezzo all'interno del nuovo mensile di Emergency (bellissimo magazine, fa concorrenza a Wired di carta...) e poi ne parleremo inevitabilmente col bravo Nicola D'Angelo (consigliere AGCOM) e credo anche con un ministro (motivi di sicurezza rendono difficile la conferma), proprio al festival del Giornalismo di Perugia (Fabio, lo so che lì ci vedremo, se vuoi portare un contributo sei benvenuto)... In ogni caso io ho aderito alla campagna sitononraggiungibile.it ciao
