This is really exciting for me because I find it not only the one true way of scaling https://ipxcourses.org/ I embraced since 2012 but also a sure sustainable framework of entrenching Africa onto your NoCs shoulders giants. I shall soon commence on the formalities and include Kenya government's Ministries of ICT and or other supporting ministries/agencies letters of support. I am very confident and rely on all of your support and guidance on welcoming the Kenya School of Law into NoC in the not so distant future. Dear all, the Call for Participation for DigiSem 2022 Digitalisation Research Seminar on Data Literacy Key competence for a fair digital society? is now open until *17 June 2022*. DigiSem is a bi-annual workshop for doctoral and postdoctoral researchers, organised by the Bavarian Research Institute for Digital Transformation (bidt <https://www.bidt.digital/event/digitalisation-research-seminar-digisem-2022 /> ), the Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS <https://www.cais.nrw/veranstaltungen/phdnet/digisem2022/> ) and the Weizenbaum Institute (WI <https://www.weizenbaum-institut.de/events/digitalisation-research-seminar-d igisem-2022-data-literacy-key-competence-for-a-fair-digital-society/> ). It will take place on *22-23 September 2022, in Nürnberg, Germany. The workshop will include a keynote by a renowned expert, multiple sessions on specific aspects of the workshops overarching theme chaired by experienced researchers from the organising institutes, and other formats, such as a poster session in which researchers present results and discuss current hot topics in a collaborative and experimental fashion. The seminar provides a platform for discussing project ideas, research results, feasibility studies, and/or pilots for product/app development with senior researchers and experts from bidt, CAIS, and WI. The first edition of DigiSem focuses on Data Literacy as a fundamental pillar for leading a meaningful, fair, and happy life in a digital society. All the best from Berlin, Hanna The Alexander von Humboldt Institute for Internet and Society (HIIG) is pleased to announce a call for proposals for a study on the topic of “Promoting Sustainable Digital Entrepreneurship in Francophone West and Central Africa ”. With a focus on the topics of entrepreneurship, platform regulation, and the use of digitalisation for climate resiliency, HIIG’s Sustainability, Entrepreneurship and Global Digital Transformation (SET) <https://www.hiig.de/en/research/sustainability-entrepreneurship-and-global-…> research project works closely with local stakeholders to build application-oriented expertise and to create an international knowledge community. Against this backdrop, the study aims to promote sustainable digital entrepreneurship in Benin, and in Francophone West and Central Africa more broadly. The study will focus on the contextual (e.g., institutional, social, and technological) barriers to sustainable digital entrepreneurship as well as identify strategies and tactics entrepreneurs can use to navigate these challenges. Proposals from established and early career scholars are welcome.
