*Computer Ethics: Philosophical Enquiries (CEPE) 2025* Last Call for Submissions Computer Ethics: Philosophical Enquiries (CEPE) is a INSEIT conference series. The CEPE conference series is recognized as one of the premier international events on computer and information ethics attended by delegates from all over the world. CEPE is held biennially, and is organized by INSEIT (the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology). Conferences are held about every 24 months, alternating between Europe and the United States. The next CEPE Conference will be held at the University of Rome, Tor Vergata; Department of History, Cultural Heritage, Education and Society from September, 24th to 26th, 2025, in collaboration with the Ionian University Research Team, IHRC (Information: History, Regulation and Culture) and The University for Peace UNO Rome branch. The main theme is: *Artificial Intelligence: Normative Implications and Philosophical Challenges* As AI continues to pervade various aspects of human life, from healthcare to governance, it brings forth a plethora of normative questions and philosophical dilemmas that demand rigorous examination and reflection. Artificial intelligence technologies raise profound ethical, legal, and social questions that intersect with fundamental philosophical inquiries. The CEPE 2025 Conference aims to explore the normative implications of AI development and deployment, as well as the philosophical challenges it poses to our understanding of freedom, agency, responsibility, autonomy, and society. AI and Copyright AI and cultural heritage ethics We welcome submissions from scholars working in philosophy, ethics, law, computer science, social science, psychology, history, education and related disciplines. Both theoretical and empirical contributions are encouraged. Submission Guidelines: All abstracts should be written in english and prepared according to the APA guidelines and should not be less than 500 and not exceed 800 words. Accepted abstracts will be turned into papers (yet written in english and prepare according to the APA guidelines). Papers should be no more than 3000 words excluding bibliography. Dear All, We are excited to announce three upcoming events to close out 2024. Organized by the NoC Secretariat and NoC Centers, these events promise to offer insightful and energizing discussions to prepare us for the work ahead in 2025: 1. First, co-hosted with the Digital Law Center, Taxing AI: A Tool for AI Governance will take place on November 26th, 5:00 PM CET (11:00 AM EST). Professor Xavier Oberson will discuss this innovative idea for AI regulation. This discussion will be moderated by Professor Elisabeth Sylvan.
