Il raffronto con Walmart l'ho letto anche sul The Economist qualche mese fa, benché i business model son diversi. Luigi Il 11 dic 2017 20:31, "J.C. DE MARTIN" <demartin@polito.it> ha scritto:

"Back to the lighter-than-air, new economy issue. When Amazon started, it thought it wouldn't need inventory or a distribution infrastructure. Now, Amazon holds inventories equal to 8.4% of revenue. Walmart's figure is 8.9%. In other words, the paradigmatic weightless retailer holds inventories in a quantity only slightly smaller than the paradigmatic traditional retailer.
Amazon's property, plant, and equipment are 14% of assets; Walmart's, with nearly 12,000 stores in 28 countries, are 22% of assets.
Not so weightless." _______________________________________________ nexa mailing list nexa@server-nexa.polito.it https://server-nexa.polito.it/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/nexa
