Dear colleagues,

The Eighth European Multidisciplinary Conference on Global Internet Governance Actors, Regulations, Transactions and Strategies (GIG-ARTS 2024) will be held in The Hague, The Netherlands, on 3-4 June 2024

This 8th edition will be organized by Leiden University's Global Transformations and Governance Challenges (GTGC) programme, and co-chaired by GTGC leader Jan Aart Scholte and Tatiana Tropina. GIG-ARTS 2024 will take place on the University’s The Hague Campus

GIG-ARTS 2024 main theme will focus on ’30 Years of Multistakeholderism in Internet Governance - Assessments and Prospects’.

The 2024 GIG-ARTS Conference will be organized back to back with the annual GTCG Conference, to be held at the same place on 5-7 June. This offers a unique opportunity to explore over a single week the governance of world-scale changes, also beyond the Internet, and to network with colleagues interested in the same kind of challenges in other policy fields.

Save the date and stay tuned: the full CfP will be circulated this Autumn.

Best regards,

GIG-ARTS 2024 Organizing Committee:
Meryem Marzouki, Mauro Santaniello, Jan Aart Scholte, Tatiana Tropina
