Our goals
The Center for Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS) aims at playing
an active role in the shaping of the rapid social, political and
economic changes brought about by digitalization and is dedicated
to promoting an ongoing dialogue between science and society.
CAIS sees itself as a place of innovative and
interdisciplinary research and as an initiator of critical public
debate among stakeholders who face the challenges and
opportunities of digitalization and are committed to developing a
normative framework for life in a digital society.
