The one-day conference is focused on standardisation and interoperability in the Internet of Things (IoT). The first session "Interoperability in IoT: open standards versus Silos" will address the implications for competition and innovation of the different paths towards realizing the IoT, while the second panel will focus on crucial issues in "Patent licensing in IoT" discussing the current licensing practices of SEPs and the need for facilitating access to standardised technologies. During the afternoon, the panel "The industrial Internet of Things: self-driving vehicles" will discuss the most dynamic sector of the industrial IoT.
