Anche il fatto che l’industria musicale indipendente sia stata “distrutta” mi pare osservazione singolare.****
Probabilmente alcune etichette tradizionali (indipendenti e non) sono morte, com’è morta l’editoria a stampa della pornografia (non vuol esser ingiurioso il paragone), ma la “produzione” musicale indipendente con nuove forme di distribuzione mi pare abbia prodotto un aumento di offerta e fruizione. Mio figlio sente robe fichissime che non so dove tiri fuori, ma son distribuite da nuovi aggregatori indipendenti...Gia sento gli strali di Giuseppe...
In effetti, trascurando l'enorme quantità di contenuti musicali rilasciati con varie licenze "copyleft" (più che altro CC), la distribuzione del materiale musicale protetto da copyright, in termini di "numero di album", da parte delle major è di circa il 20%. Il restante 80% è delle indies.
