The SDN list is huge and has some 20,000 entities (natural and legal persons subject to sanctions). It is distributed in various machine-readable formats, and undoubtedly used for automated flagging by compliance departments of companies subject to US jurisdiction and financial institutions worldwide that are concerned about secondary sanctions.

The blocked domain autistici.org is directly mentioned in the SDN list, which could explain why the reaction (likely by PIR, the registry) has been so swift.
Other domains owned by A/I would undoubtedly also be in scope of the sanction order, to the extent that the registry or registrar is under US jurisdiction. Use of OFAC to seize domains is quite common, see this research article.
But it may take more time to find out precisely which domains are actually owned by A/I. If they use proxy name services for the domain registration, the "necessary" owner information will only be with the registrar (or proxy service) and not the registry.
The end result could very well depend on the OFAC compliance efforts taken by various private companies, both registrars and registries. For example, if a domain is mentioned in the USG press release, but not the SDN list.

That lists "Website www.autistici.org" and "Email Address www.associazione@ai-odv.org", but no other domains.The postings on treasury.gov [1] and state.gov [2] were "only" the accompanying press releases.

dunque, abbiamo capito che il dominio autistici.org è stato oscurato perché posto in "statusHold" (si veda https://www.inventati.org/campaign/press, punto 10) e di conseguenza i DNS non autoritativi non forniscono più nessun record per quel dominio.
Ad essere impattati sono ovviamente tutti i servizi https://www.inventati.org/services/ *.autistici.org, incluso quello per richiedere un nuovo account https://services.autistici.org/ (ehrm!).
Per esempio l'email @autistici.org non funzion perché i server di posta non possono risolvere l'MX di autistici.org (posta in entrata) e i client non sanno a quale IP inviarla (posta in iiscita); però l'email da/per @inventati.org funziona. Anche le mailing list https://lists.inventati.org/splash/index.en.html sono impattate, ma solo quelle che usano @autistici.org; ad es. la ML di AISA (aisa.circuli@inventati.org) a cui sono iscritto sta funzionando regolarmente: https://lists.inventati.org/message/20260829.093003.ac3113a6.en.html
Non sto a fare l'elenco di tutti i domini coi quali si può accedere/comunicare a/con uno dei servizi/account gestiti da AI :-)

Oggi 31 Agosto https://cavallette.noblogs.org/ ("il blog di autistici.org", quello _ufficiale_) continua a funzionare, il dominio (che è .org come autistici.org) non è (ancora?) stato messo "statusHold".
Non solo, alcuni dei DNS teoricamente più collaborativi con l'amministrazione USA forniscono l'IP corretto:

Ora, posto che AFAIK https://www.inventati.org/ è _lo stesso identico_ sito web di autistici.org e che molti servizi funzionano anche sotto altri domini gestiti da A/I, che senso ha qesto fatto?
Dimenticanza? Ignoranza? Distrazione? Sciatteria?
...oppure è la _spettacolare_ resilienza della rete di volontari A/I?
Io non me lo spiego proprio ma mio cuggino una volta mi ha detto che a volte è molto più significativo il "non detto" che il "detto".
