Thanks for the comment. I agree it is a matter of power. The kind of power that oligopolies exert on society. It does not seem suitable to fight oligopolies with taxation. This is just a palliative for the symptoms, not a cure for the problem. Oligopolies are getting stronger and stronger, invading more and more areas of societies, exploiting internal subsidies to fund their expansions into other sectors. Google conquered the video distribution, then moved to autonomous vehicles, bought/sold Nest as well as Boston Dynamics, after appropriating of their technologies, it is dominating in Artificial Intelligence, applying it to healthcare through DeepMind. Amazon conquered all of ecommerce, starting from killing brick&mortar bookstores, then expanding to everyting, then entered the cloud business and now is entering into food (Whole Foods) and healthcare. -- Beppe
