Dear all, I started to follow the mailing-list after knowing the NEXA group in the CINI website (https://www.consorzio-cini.it/). It's exciting for me to read discussions about interdisciplinary approaches to technologies. However, some of them are very technical for a psychologist like me! :) I want to share with you a pioneering paper about web-credibility we published some years ago. I apologize if it is dated, but I guess it offers some useful starting points for debate about the importance of the indicators for discriminate"credible" information on the web. Successive data presented on 2009 AIP Italian Congress give us some evidence that Social Validation is the most critical dimension, and this is the reason why I share it with you. Some recent models in IA are founded on the construct of Society-in the-loop (see attachment) and maybe we need to involve more “humans” also exploring their beliefs.
