Ho posto una domanda simile a Fred Baker, di Cisco, che ne sa un pochino di più di Oettinger, e lui propone due opzioni:
There are two fundamental approaches to that; one is to divert EF traffic to another network path engineered to the purpose, and the other is to permit it to be transmitted before waiting TCP traffic. If traffic is diverted to another path, TCP benefits in the sense that it no longer competes with the voice traffic. If voice is prioritized, since the capacity available to TCP remains constant and TCP's definition of high QoS calls for consistent high throughput without reference to inter-arrival interval, TCP perceives no degradation of service. In either case, Voice experiences consistent arrival of the data stream with no gaps outside the parameters of that buffer, but may not without the mitigation.
