We would like to ask to circulate among NoC Centres the call for application of the 7th edition of our summer school for journalists and media practitioners. This year the focus will be on "Journalism in the era of algorithms and artificial intelligence" and it will take place in Florence, Italy, on 11-15 June 2018. We are offering *twenty (20) scholarships* to attend the summer school that cover travel expenses (up to 300 EUR), accommodation for 5 nights, tuition fees, all course materials, access to the EUI library, Wi-Fi access at the EUI, social activities, lunches and coffee breaks on lecture days. The scholarships are available for outstanding candidates from EU member states <https://europa.eu/european-union/about-eu/countries_en>, accession <http://ec.europa.eu/environment/enlarg/candidates.htm> and neighboring countries <https://ec.europa.eu/info/business-economy-euro/economic-and-fiscal-policy-c...> by application only. Please note that unsuccessful applicants for these places will not be considered for a fee-paying place at the School.
