China’s strategic goals for data assetization and much more!*

Every country has data, but only one country, China, has created a program
to allow firms to value their data as an asset. Over time, this initiative
could allow China, a country, with lots of data, to create a new source of
revenue, which in turn could stimulate new markets and sources of data.
Moreover, it could have a significant impact on China’s AI competitiveness.
Ironically, Chinese firms have not welcomed the initiative, because
companies are concerned about complex compliance requirements, valuation
challenges, and concerns over data security. Please join us for Webinar 49
which will explore China’s strategic goals for data assetization, the role
of state-led data marketplaces, and how these efforts fit into the
country’s broader AI ambitions.
