Just a few days ago the German Federal Public Prosecutor launched investigations against two prominent German journalists on the suspicion of treason. The two founders of the well known political blog Netzpolitik.org published leaked information about online surveillance plans of the national intelligence agencies. As freedom of expression seems at stake, emotions in the public discussion are running high.
