There are 2 positions available at the Tilburg Institute for Law, Technology and Society (TILT) in a new ERC project on Global Data Justice: we will be exploring how data technologies relate to social justice. The project will involve empirical research on questions of privacy, rights and autonomy with regard to digital data in different regions around the world, in order to devise a globally applicable framework for just treatment with regard to our data. In 2018, TILT will also welcome up to two research fellows working in the area of data ownership, re-use and portability (broadly, data-enabled innovation). The selected fellows will become a part of an ongoing project of the institute and will be able to join an upcoming conference that will be organized in spring 2018.
