We are organizing the 2019 Latin America Communications Policy Research conference (CPR LATAM) and would like to share the call for papers and participation to the NoC community. Thank you! ________ The CPR LATAM conference brings together academics, civil society, and public and private sector leaders from across Latin America and the Caribbean to discuss the key issues facing the development of digital infrastructure and information ecosystems in the region. The 13th CPR LATAM conference will be held July 1-2, 2019 in the city of Córdoba, Argentina. CPR LATAM invites paper and panel proposals that address the economic and social impacts of Information and Communication Technologies (ICTs) in Latin America and the Caribbean. The following topics are of particular interest: Artificial Intelligence and Algorithms Automation and the Future of Work Competition Policy in the Digital Age Cybersecurity and Encryption Data Protection and Privacy Digital Innovation and Trade Digital Rights Digital Platforms Economic Development and Competitiveness Education and ICT Skills Financial Inclusion and Digital Services Future of ICT regulation ICT for Development (ICT4D) Internet Governance Internet of Things To apply, please submit an abstract for review on the CPR LATAM conftool website <http://www.dirsi.net/conftool/> by creating a user or logging in to your existing account and clicking "Submit Contribution." *Abstract submissions must be received by February 15, 2019. * Abstracts must be no more than 2,000 words and clearly state the purpose, methodology, findings and practical implications of the research. Please include a summary of your CV (no more than 2 pages) in the same document. Papers will be accepted in English, Spanish or Portuguese. All abstracts will be reviewed by the organizing committee and be evaluated based on content, relevance, significance, originality and presentation.
