How can artificial intelligence solve societal and ecological challenges? We are actively looking for three motivated people to join the research project ‘Impact AI: Evaluation of the societal impact of AI systems for sustainability and the public interest’. In 15 case studies, our research team is developing a transdisciplinary method for auditing AI projects together with partners such as Greenpeace and Gemeinwohl-Ökonomie e.V. (Economy for the Common Good). The goal is to assess the opportunities and limitations of AI systems for societal transformation and ecological sustainability.
