Hello, Just to let everyone know that am closely working with the Kenya School of Law(https://www.ksl.ac.ke/) towards enlisting them to become a member of NoC. This is really exciting for me because I find it not only the one true way of scaling https://ipxcourses.org/ I embraced since 2012 but also a sure sustainable framework of entrenching Africa onto your NoCs shoulders giants. I shall soon commence on the formalities and include Kenya government's Ministries of ICT and or other supporting ministries/agencies letters of support. I am very confident and rely on all of your support and guidance on welcoming the Kenya School of Law into NoC in the not so distant future. In particular, I trust that my ITS, Rio de Janeiro, Leyla Kesser at Istanbul alongside our good Berkman Klein friends will handhold KSL into the NoC. Meanwhile, I have copied this message to our good KSL Senior Lecturer - collaborator for his information and note. Have a pleasant and rewarding rest of the week. Sincerey, Alex Gakuru at Nairobi, Kenya. On Wed, May 18, 2022, 4:47 PM susan ariel aaronson <saaronson2@gmail.com> wrote:

We highly encourage you to join us in person at the Elliott School. *About the Event:* Immersive spatial computing technologies such as augmented reality and virtual reality can change how we see, interact with, and experience the world. However, we don’t know how these technologies (which we refer to collectively as XR) may affect global governance and international relations. The conference aims to foster a discussion around these issues. Between June 9-10, our panels will:
- Discuss how XR may affect key issues and institutions of international governance such as national security, democracy, human rights, and international economics. - Explore how XR challenges the roles of the nation state, corporations, and individuals. - Examine how some countries are already adapting to the opportunities and risks posed by XR.
*Audience and Format:* The free two-day hybrid event is designed to facilitate a dialogue among attendees and speakers. Some speakers will be live cast and the event will be available live on YouTube. In-person attendees will be provided food and the opportunity to experience XR with programs and headsets provided by Meta, the US Air Force, and the US Army.
