In case you are interested, the Center for Technology and Society at FGV will host the 2024 edition of the Computers Privacy and Data Protection Conference Latin America (CPDP LatAm), on 17 and 18 July, and will also organise an event on Digital Sovereignty in the G20, on 19 July.  
Considering the Brazilian presidency of the G20 this year, the meeting will be dedicated to “Data Governance: From Latin America to the G20”. CPDP LatAm 2024 will have 29 sessions, featuring 90+ speakers from 24 countries, and will be an official side event of T20, the G20 think tank group.
